1. Your favourite genre.

Fantasy. Hands down. Because I don't like skirting around the rules of pre-existing worlds and societies (aka, reality in whichever era) that I can't bend because the realist in me objects to it. As with my writing in general I'm not confident enough in my abilities to assume I can pull off a successful suspension of disbelief, so I tend not to try. Which just leaves fantasy or simply anything that has never been Real Life. So... yes, I am generally more comfortable playing in a game where I'm not entirely familiar with the rules. And that amuses me more than it should do.
